Since 2009 we have worked as The App Master. Today we present ourselves as tam evolution. It is the same team, the same mission and the same way of working, with a name that better describes everything we do. In this post we explain why we changed it, how we got here and what you can expect from us.
Who we are today
tam evolution is a technology consultancy with offices in Buenos Aires, Austin and Valencia. We have 17 years of experience, more than 350 projects, more than 200 clients across 25 industries, and we work with clients in 21 countries. We describe how we work in one line: we understand first, then we propose.
Why we changed our name
The App Master was born to build apps, and for a long time that was exactly what we did. But our work kept growing. Today more than 80% of the projects we develop are not mobile apps: they are web platforms, integrations between systems, automations, artificial intelligence solutions and processes that go digital. The word “App” still described part of what we do, but it no longer covered everything.
We chose “tam” because it is what the team has always called us. Changing the name did not mean changing our face, so we wanted to keep what people already knew. And we chose “evolution” because it describes something we have done from the start: looking for better ways to do things, growing and innovating alongside the challenges of each client.
How we got here
We started in 2009 with a simple idea: building apps to improve the way people work and live. We worked on projects for Apple, BlackBerry, Android and Windows, in the years when mobile apps were starting to change everyday life.
In 2018 we started crossing borders. Today we work with clients in 21 countries across four continents.
Along the way we also earned certifications and recognitions. We hold the ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 27001 information security standards, certified by IRAM and IQNet. Clutch included us in its rankings of B2B companies in Argentina in 2020 and 2021, and of global B2B companies in 2022. We were also recognized in Triple Gacela, were finalists in Acelerar España and made the Top 5 at UK Startup Games.

We work from three perspectives that complement each other. Business consulting understands which processes need to change. Solution architecture defines how to solve them. In-house development builds them, and then we stay to support them.
Assessment and solution design
We analyze each business’s processes and goals to define the most suitable architecture and transformation path.
Custom development
We design, develop and support web, mobile and integration solutions, with an in-house team that stays with the project through its entire lifecycle.
AI agents and automation
We implement artificial intelligence agents and automations that cut operating time and costs, in secure environments integrated with each client’s systems.
Adaptable platforms
We work with ready-built web and mobile tools that we adapt to each organization’s processes to speed up its transformation.
